Strength

I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from GOD, who made heaven, and earth,
Mental Strength Is Vital
I want to impress upon everyone that I consider physical strength secondary to mental strength and strength of will.
Mental strength is so vital that I am not sure it is even possible to develop physical strength without it. The development of strength is many times synonymous with the development of confidence. It takes confidence to supersede many obstacles. All the reasons that may make total sense in your mind as to why you cannot accomplish something are many times just “excuse obstacles". All the memories of previous attempts at something that has either failed or were short lived are “excuse obstacles".
Mental strength also must fight through distractions. There are many distractions that seem to weaken our minds. Don’t get me wrong all distractions are not bad things. As a matter of fact, many distractions are very important to us in life. To name a few: family, job, school, and other personal, social, and professional obligations. These are very real and important but also can be distractions to the journey of creating a Life in Full Excellence. It takes mental strength and support to navigate around and persevere through these distractions.
Strength of will or emotional strength is a strength that is absolutely needed to keep up the fight when the battle seems lost or there just doesn’t seem to be a clear road to success. Strength is not just the ability to persist but more, the willingness to get back up and start again. This is also where the building block known as Faith comes in. With faith, strength of will develops into one of the most influential strengths that you will need to get to the destination of Living in Full Excellence.
